I have a 38' wide track dozer and I'd like to replace the transmission fluid.  Two questions.  Where is the easiest way to drain and then fill with new?  The manual indicates the rear of the unit for both, but that doesn't make sense for filling only draining.  Last question is what kind of fluid do you use in yours?  This won't see winter operation if that helps.

For what its worth. My dad ran a K when I was a kid, it leaked so he ran 140 rather than the 90 he had been using. Never had a bearing failure in trans or final drive. Central coast of Calif, so never lower temp than the low teens.
