Hello
I’m looking for a gang bolt for 2313. 13’ wide disk. The parts book says the gang bolt is 74-1/2” long. Original part number 586971.
Thanks

Send the specs to Shoup and have them make you one.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Thanks Paul but they won’t do hexagon shaft.
Wondering if you switched to square and square bearings

Weld what you have.  V it out to just little point, then start with 7018.  Give it plenty of time, spend more time cleaning slag than welding. Chip and then wire wheel, make it shin. Then another pass. Lay it in a piece of angle iron, keep turning it at each weld pass to keep it straight. It is hours not minutes spent to get it right.

I have welded the round axles in a medium heavy duty offset drag disc. I have never broke one of my welds, and I am not one of the worlds best welders. I welded them to have a nut on both ends to make replacing broken blades faster. I farm over many rocks.

Could it be straightened? 20 ton shop press might do it. Or weld something to it so it won't roll, then wail on it with a sledgehammer. Another option would be to cut a v notch into the high side, then pound it straight. Then weld the notch full. Depending on the bend, might have to notch it in a couple spots.

I second straighten it.

I had a bent shaft on a 2600 disk and straightened it on my press. It works good.
