I have a 7010 with the 12 speed transmission. I am unable to get into any other gear except for 3rd and reverse because the "throw" of the gear shifter is too much. For example when coming from reverse or 3rd into neutral, you have to have the shifter all the way ahead (where 1,2,4 would be) to be in neutral. Therefore its unable to go into those top gears. The linkage above the floor all seems tight. Also it just started to occasionally pop out of gear. Is there anything else I can check?

What is the largest number on your tee handle shifter?? 4 or 5. You have either a 16-speed or 20-speed Power Director transmission. There is linkage inside the console that you must take the console side panel off (next to the seat) to see. There is linkage under the cab too. Something is very loose and it would take two people to find the problem. There could be a broken bolt holding one of the pivot bearings under the cab floor. There are two of those.
