Okay. We'll here's my problem. I have my poor old faded CA that has been rattled canned through the years. Got my new tires mounted on my new power adjust rims that were already painted by the Allis collector in Michigan I got them from.

I went to get paint to do the dishes and wedges at Peavey Mart (our old Tractor Supply) and tried everywhere else and all they have that is close is Old Kubota Orange.

My rims kinda match my new Kubota's, but that Old Kubota orange paint looks more like safety workware bright orange. So unless I can find a better match tomorrow I guess it will be three different shades of orange until I tear it completely down to do a proper paint job.

What have you got to lose, try the Chevy engine orange paint, it might be closer then you think. I believe PPG formula for Deltron "Concept" Acrylic Urethane (DCC60080) paint will restore the original colour when you decide to repaint the old girl.

Thanks LittleB. I'm not a painter, so there's the other issue. Plus everything we get seems to be different up here in Soviet Canuckistan (Can'tada)

So I would just need that DCC60080 code to order it?

Eventually I want to make the old girl right, but right now I still got this pesky thing that gets in my way called my job.

And with it already getting down to 2 degrees above freezing here last week, I just need to get the wheels back on and get her mobile in case I need to move it at all during the winter. I got it in a tarp shed right now to do the power washing and stripping and painting but I sure don't want to leave it in there all winter.

Being subjected to numerous rattle can repaints over the years, there is no way to tell what kind of paint was used.  It seems many paint makers supply "Allis Chalmers Orange" paint, but they are all a different color of orange!

Take a piece off the tractor that shows good, clean paint - I have used the air breather cap.  Take it to a paint store and they will blend up a color to match what you have.  Some places can put it into rattle cans as well.  This is your best option until you decide to paint the entire tractor.

It could be just the light, but that sure looks like PO #2.  It is TOO orange for the CA

Hi.    When I had my "B" painted Corporate Orange. the body shop owner/operator said that the orange formula was exactly the same as the GM engine that was sitting right beside it. ?!     ( sorry for the sizing of the photo).
