Front axle a fixed width. Different type of drawbar. Can't imagine a PTO or 3 point hitch being offered either.

1 showed up at Hutchinson last year that didn’t even have a hydraulic pump. Just a small one for power steering and no hydraulics out the back.

Remote hydraulics could very well have been an "option". Not needed when pulling a large roller or sheep-foot packer.

The D21 did not have a fixed front axle width like the other D series industrials. Ours was at Hutch and at Rantoul. It only has a pump for power steering. The main difference is the rear hitch. Nothing in the serial number.

And according to my D21 Industrial literature sheet a three point hitch with either category 3 or 2 sway blocks was optional equipment.  Sorry Doc, you're still the best though.

It looks like you could "spec" the D-21 Industrial tractor just like a farm tractor, only yellow paint was standard !! Who would need a PTO on an industrial tractor ?? or an adjustable front axle ??

Concerning the pto, I know Hancock built some pto driven elevating scrapers. My farmer friend had one, he pulled his with a 1466.

Back in the day, would there have been PTO powered air compressors or generators? Add a 540 adapter and a generator would run a long time.

I have both the ag and industrial D21 price lists. Really no difference. All options are the same. There are a few orange industrials. No mention of the heavy hitch in my price book.
