As luck would have it, A/C stopped working on the hottest of days this summer.  I did what most have had to do and attached twine to the door then back to the cab post.  You can see the orange twine, if you look carefully.

I had my humidity/temp meter with me while I was cutting the 18 acres of Alfalfa.  It was 96 degrees outside.   In the cab it was 105 around my head with the tractor moving,  110 with the tractor sitting still and 122 on the floor moving.  I wondered why my feet were so much hotter.

This A/C has given me fits.  Two years ago I replaced everything except the stuff in the cab roof.  I am going to leave it alone and fix it next spring at this point.

Crazy thing is it goes from 95 High today to 80 degree high tomorrow and 78 on Sunday.  And yesterday they were calling for 25% chance of rain and now it is about 75%!  The humidity is so high the hay isn't drying despite the temperature so maybe I will luck out and save the cutting, but doubtful.

I know guys in the South deal with this heat way more than I do in Indiana.  I shouldn't be complaining but these cabs aren't made for summer use without A/C.

Easy check, compressor is grounded in front of radiator. Take that 3/8 bolt out, clean, lube, and replace. May not fix, but easy check.                 MACK
