i have d 17 gas tractor for parts,        can i use the power steering pump from the d17 on my wd and a charlyn torque generator i would need to change my mag to a distributer

I have thought about doing that too, but you will need a reservoir tank too.

i have thought about useing the wd 45 power steering tankor running off of the hydralic resivior  where my remotes return

Best to find a pump from older car or truck that is about like yours. Most older D17 pumps like that are on their last leg. If you have a good parts man at your local auto supply store, he can show you pictures to compare to yours.                        MACK

i do have a eaton belt drive pump but no brackets and pullys for the front of the engine
