Turns out both my 7030 and 8050 the pto output shaft seals are leaking.
As I’ve never done this repair before im assuming one has to drop that pan and get up inside to remove some snap rings to get it out?
Thanks ahead for any tips.

I did it 35 years ago on a 7045. We left a pto shaft too long on a new rotary cutter and it put pressure against the pto an took the seal out. My point is I dont remember enough to help you the fact that I did it at a tender young age without a service manua I know you will get along fine

Be sure and drop the oil, the cover underneath, the night before, and let it drip overnight.
