I can't really tell where it is leaking from but I am losing about a half gallon after working the tractor for about 15-20 hours.  I have 16 speed Power Director transmission.  Any hints on likely suspected part failures that I should start with or even where to look for the leak?  I see oil on the underneath side but no leaking while it is sitting still.

It could be several things, If you own a pressure washer I would give it a super good washing and let it dry for a day than take it out and work it for about 20 minutes and look then see if you can pin point the leak.

You may find you have several small leaks.

Thanks for that suggestion.  It will be a week or more before I can do that.  My son "borrowed" my power washer a month ago and so I have to track him down and get it back.

If it is running down left side of transmission, could be dip stick braking off.                           MACK

Thanks for that hint.  Never thought about that.  I hope to get to the bottom of it in a week or so.
