Happy sunday. Can I take this shaft out with out running into problems of stuff dropping behind it. Or how do I go about it? Split the tractor for the clutch and the bushing was hanging out on the smaller input shaft. uploads/452/IMG_6041.jpeg" rel="nofollow - IMG_6041.jpeg

I dont know what Doc or Mack would say but I think Id get a new bushing and put some locktite on it and tap it back in there.

Over the years, I've actually removed a couple of those bushings because the tractors clutch shaft was dragging and making it difficult to shift into gear without constant grinding of the gears. Removal of that bushing cured the problem.

Can't see much the bushing does with a good piolet bearing and pressure plate is rigged. MACK

Thank you. In that case I will just leave it out and put the new clutch in. I’m sure others have thought about this and may have mentioned it. But if you ever wanted to record hours of Allis knowledge, Dr I would pay for it to happen!
