If it looks like this unit belonging to Chad (WI) from this site, it's an E-60.

| If it's significantly smaller, it could be a B-125. Same engine that was used in the B, C, and CA tractors. Got any pics? That would make it a heck of a lot easier to identify. |

| The E-60, thats it, after seeing the picture went back and looked on side of raditor and there it was, thanks ya'll I'm not too A-C familiar, more JD, but like anything old, this power unit and a sawmill were saved from the torch, but too late for 2 tractors and some farm equipment, don't know what the tractors were but one had a front end loader, what a shame. Will try to get some pictures posted, was this engine a power unit only or was it in other things? |

I have seen the bigger power units, but never seen them run. Did the e-60 use the 201/225 engine or the bigger A engine? With the shields on the sides are they quieter than the equivalent powered tractor? That set up looks like it would be hell to get the belt tension just right and every thing lined up since you cant roll forwards or backwards. |

Same basic engine, but bigger bore than the A - 5 1/4 X 6 1/2. I have an Allis EK 30-60 from 1935 which has the same engine in kerosene trim. Massive torque and power from those 563 cubic inches.
