Hi a’ll,
So I picked up 2 delco remy alternators that don’t work, the one worked when I first got it but it quit and the other was stuck but it came loose and never worked and so I’m trying to find parts for them but I can’t seem to find anything.
So I can only find numbers on the nicer one which I think is:
Delco-Remy
11024M
6M 9-12V
Both are 3 wire..

That's most likely a Delco 10SI alternator with built in solid state regulator. If you want to take on rebuilding it yourself, click below and take your pick. As said by others, you can use your old unit as a core and get one already remanufactured or get a new one from a place like DB Electrical.

A Delco alternator part number should be 7 digits, no letter, from any I have seen.   Back away from the alternator a bit and take another picture of it showing the entire back of it and the connections.  The 10DN series has 3 connections as well as the 10/12SI series, but are externally regulated.

Rather than spending $50. on parts, you would be further ahead to buy a NEW aftermarket  10SI...... or even get a newer style CS130  or a Denso MINI ..... lot of options for about $100.

Take one of them and use it as a core. Pick yourself up a 10 SI series Alternator at the Auto Parts store. The stuck one probably had water in it, so it's probably junk inside. You'll be way ahead of the game. You didn't mention what Tractor you're working on, but the "SI" series will work on the "W" series Tractors as well as a B and some of the "D" series Tractors. If you have a C or CA or a G, you'll want to move to either a Delco "CS" 121 series Alternator which is the smaller cousin of the "SI", or the mini Denso. Those will be a little more expensive, but well worth the dough especially if you're cramped for room.  With the Delco Alt's you can pull the 1/2 wide pulley off of them and install the pulley off your Generator being they are the same .670 shaft. The Denso incorporates a 15mm mainshaft, so a special pulley is needed if installing it on the early Tractors that take the 5/8" wide belt pulley. We have that special pulley in stock if interested, if you're going to move to the mini Alt Denso.  Wire your Tractor for a 3 wire system so you don't have to rev the snot outta' the engine like ya do with a one wire. Save the one wires for the hotrodders....... HTH  If you need any more info, just drop me a line. Be happy to point you in the right direction....

I was going to use one on a Chevy 2 ton truck and the other one on a 57 Wd45 (it’s still 6 volt right now) and I have a working one on a 49 wd and a D21…
Man, I just realized I already have a lot of those 3 wire alternators!!!

I searched (the 10 si model) my local Napa store and the website said $79 as long as I gave them a core otherwise it’s $102.

That is a 10 SI series Alternator in your pic. Stroll in the Napa, hand them the one that was stuck, and ask em' for a 7127-12, and plop that junk one in the core box, and tell the counter guys to have a nice day. You'll be waaay ahead of the game.....

Go to DB Electrical website they will have the alternator you need at a good price,no core needed,and about any size pulley.

I use DB Electrical for all alternators anymore. Never a problem with their products and they ship fast.

Usually, you get a new pulley with an exchange Alternator. If you're using it on your Truck, it probably has a 1/2" belt on it so you're good ta' go. If it's for a real early Tractor that has been converted to 12V, you would use the pulley off your Generator. I mentioned Napa because usually there's a Napa close by and it was local. If you don't have an Auto Parts store close, we sell Alternators, pulleys, etc. as well if interested........

I took a 10SI and used the 2 belt cast iron pulley and machined it into a B width belt groove to fit my HD5 instead of generator . You can make it into a 1 wire system by using a jumper from the bat terminal to the one terminal on the top side of alternator . 
 On a slow turning engine you will have to rev engine to a higher RPM to start charging . 
A generator pulley fits right onto alternator shaft but as they are generally larger than one on alternator getting unit to start charging takes higher RPM but once charging it will keep working when excited .

You don't need to rev the engine at all with a three wire system. Start it up, and at around 450-500 rpm, it's charging......

Just to do away with extra wires using the jumper wire solves the problem of running extra wires .
 Just replaced the alternator on 2000 GMC as diode leak and it discharged the batteries sitting . Looked of a replacement kit for the diode set and local store had rebuild kit on closeout for $17 with bearing (but out of stock) so Auto Zone had rebuilt alternator for $127 + core , showed my old dog tag I keep on my key ring and got 10% discount . 
  The unit I replaced was a NAPA unit I bought in 2004 - worked OK for 50,000 miles and charging 2 batteries for snow plowing but the about a week back decided to become a battery draining accessory. Odd the 105 Amp costs more than the 130 Amp unit . Seems no one has the diode block in stock for these alternators - rather sell you a rebuilt . 
 On the 10SI units the diodes were a easy replacement as was the voltage regulator that is built in . Still think in my toolbox somewhere I have extras as it seemed I went through a lot of 10SI units over the years .

Brush kits, and rectifier bridges are still available for these.  Not much to go bad beyond the Torrington bearings, the Rectifier Bridge and brushes.

Finding the diodes for this alternator is it seems no one had them as a kit , the old 10SI were easy to find all the parts needed .
