I know this probably belongs in the "Shows and Events" section, but I finally have a chance to take a breath and to thank everyone that attended, brought tractors or equipment to our GOTO.
I wasn't around as much as I hoped. Since we were running out of parking spaces Saturday and Sunday, I spent most of those days in the parking lot.
You AC guys are awesome! When you put on an event like this for the first time, you worry that you are going to end up with 20 tractors and 100 people. Friday attendance was a bit disappointing, but Saturday and Sunday more than made up for it.
I'm sure we made some mistakes and I apologize for them. I know I am biased, but I thought we had a good show!
Thanks everyone!

x 2 Curt:  Many Thanks for all the excellent efforts that you and the St. Lawrence Power Team and GOTO Folks put into this and especially putting the North Country on the MAP for the Great AC products.

One recommendations for future events:

1. Would like to see Technical Service Seminars or Speakers on Technical Service.   I know there was enough talent there that  the more difficult technical service details could have been covered by some of the old AC field service guys that attended.  D Series jumping out of gear and repair techniques would have been nice.

Keep up all the great work and am looking forward to attending more events at the St. Lawrence Power Museum!

Respctfully, ~ Orangeman

Thanks for your suggestion.

I talked to Dave Clausen about the possibility of applying for another GOTO. Dave says they like to wait 10 years between shows at the same site, unless another show cancels. (I did ask him to keep us in mind if they have a cancellation.) In 10 years, I will be 77. I barely had enough energy now! Because of that, I expect this will be our last show in Madrid. As Tim Havens said at the banquet, we just don't seem to have many young people interested.

The problem is, there's a lot of young people out there that aren't interested in anything!! Darn shame.......

I always wanted to put together a mechanical power director seminar, but I would need a scrap torque tube and trans housing-preferably out of a D14 or D15 to keep things light......

I am glad to have been able to not only attend but have one of 3 -6-12s on display.  It was a great show and you did a great job keeping the rain at bay.

Thank you, Thank you Al and everyone else. Great job.

The universal answer to all questions is yes, how much do you want to spend?

Great show, I’m glad we able to attend. I like seminars too but the show was good enough despite not having any. I got to see another part of the country which is a big deal for me. Northern New York looks similar to middle Tennessee although I think y’all’s Area is a bit more rural than were I live. I consider that a plus. Lots of interesting things to see, thanks for all the hard work that y’all did.
