Currently has 18.4x28 Firestone Field and Roads at about 50%. Would there be a noticeable difference in speed if a person put new 16.9x28 tires on it instead? Will a 16.9 tire fit on a 16" rim? Only used for hay and bush hogging.

If your 18.4's are Goodyear (small diameter) and your 16.9's are Armstrong/Titak/BKT brands, probably very little difference is actual diameter. They'll fit on the wide rims.

Heard 16.9,s are alot cheaper
