Working at tightening up my front end and there appears to be a bushing in the diesel engine adapter plate for the rear bolt to hold the back end of the axle assembly. I cannot find a part number in the agco parts book. Has this been added or should a part number be available? Thanks

They don't show one with the front axle or the diesel engine adapter plate. I have no experience with the Perkins engine installations in those tractors. This I know: if the axle rear pivot bolt nut was T-I-G-H-T like it should have always been, there would be no wear whatsoever on that bushing. Over the decades I have tightened that rear pivot bolt on D-17's thru 200 tractors for being loose and I've never had one re-loosen that I know of. They must be TIGHT !! so they can't start wallering out the hole !!

how about measure the bore size and bolt size and see if it is WORN, or room for a bushing... McMaster Carr and others will sell various bushings.

if the hole is just wollared out ... and possibly not round... I have used an air powered die grinder to cut / enlarge / round out the hole before installing a bushing.... easier than removal / drill press.

Hole is good. Just a worn bushing.
