I have a early 8050 that needs new cab bushings. Been dealing with a terrible vibration and finally narrowed it down to the bottom of the cab rubbing on the top of the left side step when the cab starts to move in rough spots. I found a local shop that had 2 of the Automann M203053's in stock for $55 a piece, compared to $120 from Agco. They are trying to find me 2 more but they're on backorder, so may have to go somewhere else.
For now i'd like to get the front 2 bushings replaced. It looks like the cab will have to go up 3-4", maybe more, to slide the new bushings into place. Is there going to be enough slack in the steering and brake lines to lift it up that far? Also would i be better off tilting the cab sideways to do one at a time, or just lift the front and do them both at once.

I hope someone on here answers this as I will need to do mine someday. Good luck with that job, let us know how it goes.

Back years ago when I had trans out of my 8070, I had front of cab lifted a fair bit. Can't say how far but at the time it looked like changing mounts would be easy. I may have unhooked some hoses behind batteries but don't remember now. I'm sure you can figure it out without too much trouble.

Peel the cab floor rubber back and you will see holes down to the bolts in the isolators.
Take all the bolts out and I think the support beam can be removed to put the isolators in, then reinstall.
Its been a while since I did mine...

my 8010 was horrible to drive till i did mine. I went to a semi truck place and found a similar mount from a big truck, the price was less than half than dealer..... same dimensions, might have been from a international truck. take the old ones in and they can measure them up, hope that helps.
