There were 2 different Carriers.

One with early D-14's that were 6 Volt.

Different Carriers for later D-14 that were 12 Volt.

What would that have to do with it? I can see different starter ring gears 6 VS 12.

the piece that the RING GEAR is bolted to is called a "HOUSING" in the parts book and it never did change.... the term "CARRIER" is used by Allis to describe the "bearing holder" on each end of the shaft.... and there was a change after the SN 19xxxxxx .

If your looking for the "ring gear holder" it was always the same.. Many call it the "carrier"... except Allis !

I’m parting out a D14 that should have a good differential in it.
