I recently purchased a 720 tractor and mower. It has a three point hitch and both front and rear PTO. Is the simplicity tiller the only one that with work on that machine? I'm beginning to think so ,because of the PTO speed and odd female spline setup. Any knowledge is welcome and are they available?

I have a 36" 3 point rototiller with a gas engine with recoil start, that I don't use.

The 48” Allis or Simplicity version is the only one that is designed for it. 1,000 rpm pto and only accepts the small spline drive shaft. And they are sometimes difficult to come by. I looked for 6 years until I stumbled across one.

Your correct Brad, I had the 1,000 rpm pto thread on my mind about the 7095. Thanks for correcting me.

I have an absolute tank of a Montgomery Wards/Sears tiller for mine but I've never seen another, as well as an Allis version. The Cub Cadets also had a 2000rpm pto input speed 3pt tiller. As well as the john Deere's.

Yes, I was told that the 420 and 430 John Deere used that pto system. Do you know what IH tractor models would use that setup? Or even the number of the IH tiller?

982 Cub Cadet, not sure on the tiller model no. Some of the later super garden's may have used the same tiller.

It's 2000 rpm, but they also turn the opposite direction the std 540/1000 turn.
