 It's a planetary reduction unit, same concept as on the steering of my '24 Model T.

It might... having to whip the wheel a few more turns to get it. Hard to say what the ratio is, I can KINDA read the script, but haven't done a websearch to find out more about it. Being planetary, I'm guessing it's about a 2:1 ratio at the highest... planetaries are constrained to a generally small reach of ratio. If they were clever, they MAY have made it so that it could shift between direct, and reduction... but I don't know. I think the price is a bit high in general... it's WAY high in terms of MY hobby budget right now... ------------- Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Great link, Brian! THANK YOU!!! The Drive-Rite sounds like an interesting gadget... sounds like it disengages one wheel to coast, and locks up that axle, turning the differential into an overdrive...
