Anyone have any? I did buy a couple of solar powered game cams for my driveway. Should be able to connect from my phone. 1 for the mailbox and 1 for a creek that's in the middle so I can monitor it when monsoon season hits. Like to get a couple more to plant around but they are kind of high. Driveway is 1/2 mile and can't see much of it from the house.
Nefarious chit may be going on around here and I want to know what it is if possible. UPS is one of them. They won't deliver back here and had a couple of window panes that were shattered. Must have chucked them out the door at the mailbox. Mail boxes have been getting raided from some of the neighbors.
Had another few that drove back here and the wife didn't recognize and she turned the dogs loose and they took off in a hurry. That was her call. She felt it was warranted.

Hey Fixer,,,welcome to the new world of thieves and robbers and seems as if the only'ist way to get any control is with those cams,,,! I have no idea what they cost but the sense on security they give you is good to me. My #3 Son bought a 4 cam set and did not take very long to set up all 4 of them. They work Great and can be monitored and controlled from his IPhone,,NO MATTER where he is. While he was working in Nort Dakota, he texted for me to reset one of them for better angle,,,, My neighbor was real bad about borrowing my tools when I was gone from work area, and we put a stop by showing him some clips frtom avideo shot the week before! I told him that HE could become a "suspect" if some real thefts occurred and we rolled the videos back for the POLICE. Issue solved right then and there!!!

Me too, tired of thieves & crooks. We had breakins in the area last spring. A pair of guys from the city (40 mile away) got arrested for them. 1 had relatives in this area when he was younger. I've several game cams outside and a setup inside pole bldg. Had them up over a year only thing I get pics of outside is; me, deer, coon, possum, cats, dogs and my renter going past. The electric meter is read remotely. The cams inside are plugged in but have battery backup and have night vision so no flash in the dark as you open doors. I'm using rechargeable batteries outside cameras, they last about 3 weeks.

good luck HudCo..... ONLY nonhackables would be WIRED cameras, usually RCA jack styled, connected to a 'computer/monitor'.

Weekend before last I sat on the porch pulling my boots on to go to church. I watched a girl walking up our road. She stopped and looked in our mail box. I hurried up and drove down the road. I never saw her so she must of hit the woods. Couple days later I saw a couple girls walking down the road. As I got closer one turned and stared in the woods with her back to me. The other waved.

Just bought wired Lorex for the shop due to the metal interfering with wireless signal. Have 3 of the 6 camera's mounted and wires ran to the office. I told the wife exactly what was said earlier, won't stop nothing, just gonna let us see who did it. I did learn something from German George across the pond. Somebody stole a very valuable nameplate off a rare tractor at his auction. Dude scoped out all the cameras and hid his face from all except he missed the one pointing backwards at the drive as he was leaving.

Got all my cameras this week. Did get some for the house. Now I just have to figure all this crap out. Never thought it would come to this.
Neighbor to the north sold his place and acreage in one week. Waiting to see what moves in there. Wouldn't surprise me if they didn't tear the old house and barn down and divide it up. They are closing in on us. When we first moved here there were 3 houses on the section and that was one of them. Now there is about 15.

Yeah Fixer, we all in the same boat,,,it's just too bad that there ain't a person(s) or a group out there with enough money to buy up all that land that keeps getting sold mainly by families that can no longer financially afford to keep the land out of the chinas of the world,,,,,,
