Hi Do you know why there is a difference on the indexing area on the 2 differents rod on the ED40 gear box, the same for D12 and othrers. May be the same for other tractors. ( D10, D12, D14, CA, may be?) On the 1st / 4th shift rod there is a flat area between the 2 indexing hole No flat on the 2nd / 3rd shift rod Why this difference?

| May be, but the 2 rods seem to work the same way, with a ball to do the indexing. So a hole is suitable and with a greater depth for the ball. So a stronger indexing in position. What would avoid the gear jumping out , may be? |
