Hello
Does anyone have rod 208825
Or a tractor with the reverse latch on shifter. I came across some parts that I believe are to it. The parts book don’t show a good picture.
Thanks

Is the 208825 rod the short one that extends down into the shifter cover that trips the reverse lockout?

Top one. Says long. Goes up to knob

On my RC the top rod is about 24" long and threaded on the knob end.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

208825 long rod used on WC 76982 and later, also WF 1904 and up.

Yes that’s what I was looking at. Was wounding what it looked like in real life.

Hi
Does anyone know if you can tell the difference between the shift lever and or rod. The difference of them per serial number break.
We came across the shift lever with #202858 on it which is wrong, studied the tag more and came up with 202856 which looks like what’s in book, old number U-2856 used prior tr.no. WC-74330, & on WF-1904.
So while looking at this picture in parts book seeing that little reverse latch rod. I remember an un identified rod from few years ago. I put the two together and pulled the 202746 nut, 202761 spoon, 202788 bell crank, 202870 bolt and they all fit good together. Which would make the unidentified rod 202785. The only thing that makes me question it is there’s little pencil mark next to the other rod number along with pencil marks on the other above parts we have

That shift lever in your picture has a bend in it. My RC is straight from the curve at the top of the transmission all the way to the knob.

Could that possibly be for a UC?

Unstyled shifters have a bend, styled dont.  You can put an unstlyed on a styled but not the other way around.

The numerical book says 202856 only fits WC,WF. That’s probably why it looks different Paul.
Thanks

Mike, I'll take that shifter. I think that will tighten up my 1935 WC shifting.
