Sent him a text awhile ago. He was doing fine. About a week ago Lon(MN) got an email from him saying he was good but his mother had passed away and he was dealing with that. Don't know why he's not on much any more ------------- Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK! |

Saw a picture of him and his better half on Facebook the other day. I don't get the attraction to Facebook??? We seem to have lost a lot of our little community here to it. I would think people could still check in once in awhile? I don't know who gives advice on Facebook but I doubt if it's as good as you get here!!! |

| Mike,, I think the big draw to FB is the ease of putting pictures for one,,, there are a lot of different 'groups' on there, including lotsa Allis, if it weren't for the tractor and truck 'groups' I'd left FB long ago,,, and oh yea,,, all the political crap there that you can stand, and more... |

Last I saw, Ted was giving Cody beer drinking advice over on FB. FB does have it's advantages and drawbacks like anything else. I left here for quite some time, got weary of the one to three word topics that turned out to be bait for separate agenda's. Just started back myself, but still not the habit it once was. ------------- Maximum use of available resources! |

Use both sites but now do the political posts on FB as it is more direct to groups , and are a lot of different groups in that area that are more in line with own ideas As far as FB on tractors and trucks as well as motorcycles I am in several groups both local and national . White Trucks , Norton Motorcycles (about 5 sites) , AC Tractor site, AC Crawlers , and some others - then family , school , and couple of Navy sites , also CVA 64 Aircraft carrier site i moderate . Only thig is I believe in total I have served over 6 months of suspensions so far in last 2 years , seems a different opinion that what their Fact checkers have earns you restrictions or a 30 day suspension Something i posted a year ago on FB got me a restriction on posts then a few days later got 30 day suspension for disagreeing with that restriction .. ------------- Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? Good to hear Ted is upright and sucking air! As far as FB, I was permanently banned, and they never gave a reason. Just a list of things it could be! My suspicion is my niece whined to FB when I posted a couple of thoughts on queers and what the Bible says. I don't know if that is it or not, but i was booted right after those posts. I always kept my posts clean and polite, but it was not PC and NOT what my niece wanted to hear. No biggie, life is just as good w/o it. I was on a homebuilt aircraft forum on FB, but I found a way around that. ------------- I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
