Can’t seem to reduce the pressure enough, backed the adjustment bolt out as far as I dare, when closing valve on discharge the engine starts laboring way too much for my comfort level. Hopefully a ‘softer’ loaded spring is available from Roper. Anybody have experience with Roper pumps? This is 2” inlet, 2” discharge.

Do you have a trash pump you are working with or a suction pump such as used for irrigation? Roper had their name on a lot of pumps, small engines and appliances for many years.

They didn't make everything marketed under their brand name.

It’s a Roper brand name. Designed for fuels, oils, etc.

Thanks. I can check with the local oil distributor for any type information. I did not know they manufactured anything to do with petroleum products.
