I just bought a 1940s C with a mounted plow -- I believe it is a #5 plow. I am missing one mounting bar. The lower front draw bar (connects to the front of the plow tongue) is connected to the upper lift arm by a piece of flat stock steel. I can make one but I don't know any dimensions. The bar has one 5/8 inch hole on one end and four 5/8 inch holes on the other.

If anyone has one, I need to know how long the bar is, how far apart the holes are, etc.

I have a manual with pics but no dimensions.

Any help would be appreciated.

The mounted plow for a C is a B&C Pickup plow not a #5. Asking for something to fit a correct implement will go a long way to getting the correct part.

The vertical connecting link from the plow drawbar to the adjusting link would be part #309928. I no longer have any B&C plow frame parts around to give measurements. The upper end will have 3 holes.

My Model C plow is out behind the barn under 3 feet of snow with more snow coming down. If you can wait a (long?) while I will get a measurement for you.

Thanks. We don't have snow here -- yet -- but I don't think I'll be trying it out soon. When you get rid of the snow, I would appreciate it.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find much about this plow -- just a mention of a #5 and #6.

The part number should be helpful.

If nobody gets you the dimensions first, I'll measure up my C plow piece when I'm back home in WI over the holidays. I imagine someone will run out to their barn with a tape measure before that though.
