Was pokin around on market place at lunch yesterday.
I saw an add for a heavy duty drill press for $100.00
I looked at it and it was a very heavy duty bench top milking machine with a very nice mill vise.
I immediately sent a message that I could be headed that way very soon.
As soon as I sent the message the add showed sold.

Well,,Good Buddy ,,,I do feel for you but,,,there will be others,,, I really don'y know HOW that works cause for example last nite I seen a 1977 K5 Blazer 4X4 that came on just 14 MINUTES before I seen it!! The pics showed a nice looking and looked to be complete! the dude said he bought it from orginal owner but was told it would not start and he had given up trying to get it started. He said he paid $600 for it and would take $500 and had the title IN HAND!!!  I quickly sent him a message, ABout 8:30 Pm and was in next town over he responded with one of them auto messages  ,,,"Yes, It's available" so sent him another message that I would meet him This morning just let me know WHERE!  The AH never responded after that and then about noon, he added,,,SOLD,,,AH, AH, AH,,,,,,,,,Sometimes you win and other times tou don;t,,,,,,,,,,LOLLOL  (Ah's)

Local Faceplant marketplace ads I can see on wife’s FB account do not last ling if price is right, and cash in hand buys most.

Craigslist and Fleabay do not see much action around here these days as scammers have and continue to hit those hard.

They are sitting right where I need to set a milling machine.
Time to make a deal. After we get them loaded on your trailer you can give me a crash course on the mill

I DO NOT use Craigslist ANYMORE as they had a bad run on hold ups,  muggings and  just plain No Good BS in west Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico and got a lot of bad publicity,,so I quit em right after thet. Still do some business with Ebay, but I Really like The Marketplace but leave it to them AH's to try moving in to fleese people,,, I see more and more ads that are just meant to lure you to a specific place to get your money That's just "People" these days...

My Grandmother bought her sisters Shop Smith decreed to her in a divorce as I enjoyed messing with it as a child. It was the original Late 40s version. My Dad wore it out for me so purchased the last style they made to replace, should have gone ahead and bought the attachments knew could use as went out if business, Again. Some stuff as blades and used attachments still come up in sales but the small table the saw comes with is a detractor I have had to work around for years.
