I'm looking for information and/or history on an Allis U tractor #15950 that belongs to one of my customers.  It is unusual in that it has a cab, said to be built by the factory, and the tractor was supposed to have been used around West Allis for years.  We would like to verify if any of this is in fact true.  It has a pair of Adlake headlights installed with an original key style light switch installed in a small instrument panel along with the oil pressure and amp gauges.  It has a two coil voltage regulator instead of the normal cutout.  The throttle control has been modified to restrict the speed also.  Here are a few pics.

A few more pics.  The cab has a brass plate mounted on the right side that has "Lloyd Vigar" engraved on it.  There is a rear entrance door with a window that drops down to open.  The side window panels slide to the rear to open. The upper part of the front windshield swings up and out to open.  The windshield and frame look very similar to a late twenties to early thirties truck.

That’s neat.
