I'm at the antique auto show in Hershey, PA and, after walking my feet off for a couple of days, ran across an old AC sign here. It's about 1' x 6' with white raised letters on an orange background. According to the seller, it came off a barn in Petersburg, PA which is also in central PA. It's in really good shape with just a couple of very small dents in the metal. I'm curious whether anyone knows anything about a farm in that area who dealt in AC equipment or supplies.
I'll post a picture of the sign once I am back in MA.
Picture now posted - see below!

I bet I'm not so far from a lot of you fellows, but I don't have my own vehicle. Came down to this show for the first time with some old car nuts from my area. Leaving tomorrow.
Does anyone know if there ever was a dealership of some sort in Petersburg or East Petersburg?

Now back in Massachusetts - here is a picture of the sign:
I'd surely appreciate any information anyone may have about this sign - was it commonly used? Used at dealerships? Vintage? Or anything else! Thanks much.

Gee, guys, I worked really hard to find that sign! I must have walked all over the Hershey show site before it turned up. And it could have come from some place distant to PA - the seller told me that it came out of a barn. Sure would like to know more about its history. In any case, it's in a place now where it'll be taken care of for a long time.
