I discovered today working out in cold helping get a poorly maintained 200 started that the fuel shutoff on early 200 is not located in same place as on my late 200. Early is RH of tank Late ( 4001-> ) is to LH . 
 Fuel was not jelled but the water in bottom of tank, tube (tank - separator) and in water separator was frozen. New filters, putty knife to remove fuel soaked dirt, a little heat around shut-off valve, careful heat on plastic tube, 2 bottles of mechanic-in-a-can it tuns again. I'd not planned on working outside today had hoped to clean shop. They came in shuffled about said tractor won't start, used a can either trying, dumby me I says fuel either iced or jelled, they stood while I swept. So I Spent 3 hours with them drove my pickup 25+ miles, tested batteries ( they had charger on) I supplied LP torch, tools, and got my old fingers wet & cold so charged them $200 labor, miles & shop supplies. They bought filters and went to town after them. 
 I've a friend that owes me supper for sending them to me.

All of that could have been avoided if they had used a good tank cleaner product and anti-gel back (Like "PowerService BioKleen" & "PowerService Diesel fuel supplant") when the weather was warm.

On my late S/N 200, the shut off is on right side looking at tractor from rear. I use Power Service (white bottle) year round. That fuel shut off is usually where they freeze, so I cram a good amount of building insulation up in that area and secure it with a metal strap bolted to support at bottom of tank. Haven't had any problems for years.

I've used the Penray,  Schaeffer or BG products at work and home for 30+ years. I've never had equipment freeze or jell in the yard or out working that I've been involved in winter prep on. WC & NW Iowa. 
 A (so called friend) sent them to me because he doesn't do field repairs anymore.
 I've no phone listed or sign so people don't happen to find me. I realized they were going to stand there in my shop until either I agree to help or physically threw them out. I told them a minimum price upfront before I put coat on. They said OK, paid the $150 cash minimum and we went to tractor. 
 We were within 4 miles of an AGCO Dlr. They farm rented land where tractor sitting at grain bins and its 30+ miles from their home and about 12 from my shop..

Weird how the 200 has the same tank as the 190s but only 1 valve under the tank which also varies early vs late model??? My 1966 190XT has a sediment bowl/shutoff valve on each side of the tank. LH front corner and RH rear corner which are connected together into the main line going forward to the filter. Is the 200 fuel tank baffled differently to keep it from starving the outlet of fuel if caught working side hills with low fuel level with the outlet on the high side???

Back in the 70's, when I was involved in pulling, the shop that did our injection pump work advised me to pick one diesel fuel conditioner and stick with it. He said different brands use different formulations and best practice was to make sure all of one brand supplement was out of the existing fuel before switching to a different brand.

You're talking 50 year old products versus items produced in last 20 or less.  
 I'll run what I prefer and you'll run what you prefer.

The 200 has a fuel outlet on both sides of the tank, just like the 190. Ther is a crossover tube between them. The big difference I have noticed is that my late 200 has smaller threads in the outlet than the 190. The late 200 also has the fuel gauge on the tank unlike the 190.
