Just a heads up
I have seen Midwest cylinder head mentioned several times for welding cast iron. They used to be to go to place to get Buda heads welded but they no longer do that and haven't for some time.
Rex, the fellow who used to own Midwest Cylinder head started up Shell Welding when Midwest quit and now he has shut down also due to old age and no help.
I just took divery of one of his last jobs, perfectly done as usual. It getting very hard to get that work done as shops that know what they are doing are closing up everywhere.

What a shame to lose those places that have the knowledge and it slips away and is forgotten.

We had Chapin rework a Mahindra cylinder head earlier in the summer this year. Having difficulty obtaining parts for the block now so still not back together.
