Seems like it'll be a good series. I sure wish the Padres would've beaten the Phillies. Mainly just because, being a Braves fan, I can't, in good conscience, pull for the Phillies. Still, the deadline was pushed back several times due to problems with financing and documents. In 2019, they decided to sell the right to demolish the skyscraper at a charity auction. Still, the new owner of the territory, billionaire Carl Icahn, ordered to close the auction and paid the designated amount himself.
