Anybody remember a radio program from the '40's or '50's called The Allis Chalmers farm and home hour? A man would come on with "it's a grand day to be alive". Anybody know anything about the program?

Paul Harvey was a favorite. I also miss Rush Limbaugh and Neil Boortz. Neil retired and move out of Atlanta to his second home in Naples, Florida.
