All, I just picked up a Military generator mounted on a Military trailer. The trailer is dated 1979 and is to the best of my knowledge a M200A1 2-1/2 ton trailer. The engine is an Allis Chalmers 3500-A, by the tag and it has a date of 7/87, so 1987. I am trying to figure out from what years did they make the 3500(A)?? 1987 seems late.
