Anyone know what size chains fit a 13.6 by 28 tire? I see a lot of ads where they only have the measurements of the chains, for instance "set of chains, measures 18" by 10 feet".

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure I told you on Facebook, but I'll say it here for anyone else.  Look up the Laclede Chain web site.  They are the only place I've found to give dimensions for their chains.

Measure the diameter of your tire and multiply by 3.14. That will give you the circumference (length around the tire). As long as they are wider than the tire, they should drop down the sidewall, thusly shortening the length needed to connect the ends.

as trucker said, your tire should be about 52 inches in diameter, so the circumference is 52 x 3.14 .... or 163 inches around , which is 13.6 ft.

If your chains are 18 inches wide so that they drop 3 inches down on the sidewall on each side, then the tire diameter would be  52 - 6 or 46 inches..... that would be 46 x 3.14 or  144 inches long , which is 12 ft  long chain.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
