Well I knew it was coming... been TOLD to remove the 4 tractor sheds that are in front of the house next door(Hamilton Bylaw...)
One can be relocated on  site and at least the contents aren't mine...hehehe
Moving the 9x12x7 sheds will be 'fun'..
The other 3 need to find new homes PDQ.

I'm removing them but NOT the 3 D-14s......
so instead of nice sheds the CITY will have to look at lots of scragiy ,multicolored tarps

jay, are you techniquely "in the city"... With 4 sheds and your "auto demo" business on site, i assume this was somewhat "in the country".... how far OUT OF TOWN does the County restrict what you do ?   Some here have restrictions on JUNK YARDS or WEED PATCHES, but i have not heard of small buildings being banned that are already IN PLACE ?

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Anything in front of line in front of house can be a problem .
Off to one side of house I have a second driveway - I use to park my dump truck and trailer there and no problem but seems someone objected to my Adams 411 grader setting there as it didn't move often enough .
Now keep everything out back - but kids - 50 year olds think dad's place is where they can store their prizes now ...

yeah, it's the 'in front of the house' bylaw..
I KNEW about it and the building permit (over a year now..)for the house actually stated 'sheds to be removed'...
It's really only come up cause the City's forcing  them to get a 4K$ 'varience' for my old shop as the City lost the original building permit from 1964. They 'lost' ALL the permits and papers when they annexed Flamborough into Hamilton. I told the new property owners 'how and why' it could be legally fought......3 times... oh well, it's her money not mine.
legally the tractors can stay until next July ,but I KNOW I'll be 'asked' to move them as well...
Kinda like the 'guy-with-the-machine' problem.....

hmm, anyone want 3 D-14s and implements ....

yep...been harrassed by our city too...out here in the country, but within a 2 mile area from the city limits. they didn't like a vehicle i had on the farm that was unlicensed, well...that didn't go as they planned it would. it's still unlicensed and still sitting here on the farm! sure is wrong that the city can govern us, but we can't vote for them (or not) in any election. think that needs to be changed! now...like Jay is having trouble with, our city also wants one of my buildings removed...it don't leak and covers/protects what i need protecting...but it don't look like a new one, so......anyway....it's still there and I haven't heard any more about it after my conversation with the city fathers!
