Question on jumpstarting or charging this 24V system… two batteries on each side… is there a particular side I should use for jumping with a jump pack? Hook it up to the positive on one battery and the negative on the other? Thanks for the help, Loader has been sitting for a couple years as I’m not familiar with 24V and am trying to get it going again…

You can use a 12v charger across the two terminals of each battery to charge them, or 2 batteries if they are in parallel, make sure  the master switch is open, if equipped.  Best to charge the batteries individually, until they are all charged up good. Starters, old ones in particular, don't like being ran on low voltage.

we had a forktruck that was 48 volts.. I use to charge each battery individually with a 12 v charger with  red lead on the + and black lead on the - ..... you dont have to worry about disconnecting the cables to other batteries.. Charged one battery per day till they are done. ........ you can also use a volt meter to go from + terminal to frame ground to determine how batteries are wired together.. first and last..

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

the two batteries on one side will be wired POS to POS and NEG to NEG.... the other two on the other side will also be wire POS to POS and NEG to NEG..... If you check the voltage on ONE side you will have 12 volts + to FRAME GROUND... If you check the other side you will have 24 v + to FRAME GROUND, but 12v from + to battery NEG.............. you can also jump from the STARTER to GROUND and not on the battery terminals.
