I have a intermittent problem, when starting. Sometimes I get click sound when turning the ignitions switch to start. If I switch it off and try again it will usually engage the starter the second or third try. Sometimes it engages on the first try. I checked the battery voltage and it is fine.

Kick down on the clutch pedal really hard. That safety switch is the usual suspect.

PTO safety switches. There are 2 of them. They are the usual suspects.

Install a relay between big white wire and starter if it don't already have one. MACK
