D17 Series IV (according to serial)

See two images below.

My carburetor leaks.  Would it be reasonable to expect I might fix this with new gaskets?

D17 Series III

the seat for the INLET VALVE might be cut and causing carb to overflow... YEs, new gaskets, new shut off seat ( or lapping old) , and reset the float level will fix the leak.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Your carb is a Marvel Schebler, not a Zenith.

Good catch Dr... I didnt even look at the name on the KIT..

you can get a BASIC kit with gaskets and seals... or you can get a KIT that includes new shafts and  valves ......... check if your throttle shaft wobbles in the bore.

It's also NOT a series 4 by the carbs choke linkage.
