What are people doing for tires? I picked up a model D gas that is really a nice machine considering it’s age. Rebuilt the front end and put electronic ignition on it. I’d love to get a more modern wheel to be able to put a little bit smaller wheel/tire combo on it. Where are y’all finding stock tires/tubes?

8.00X20" truck tires work, If you want military ND's, 9.0X20, worn down 2/3 will fit, barely, and if you have a cab, you have to have the front wheel in a pot hole to close the door...Wink

I got my ND's from gensco, the company that sells airplane tires to farmers...Wink

When I had mine I just used truck tires. Those graders are geared a little fast so look for tire smallest tire that fit your wheels. Since all 4 wheels are locked together you don't need anything with a lot of grip.

You can get a 7.50X20 manure spreader tire. That's wat is on out tractor club's D grader. Also 7.00X20, 6.50X20 & 6.00X20 truck tires are available if you wish smaller tires.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
