I have looked in my book and don't seem to be able find what weight fluid to refill with.
Drained the old oil and going back with new fluid.
What is best for this tractor.

The local Farm Store or other will have a couple varieties of "hydraulic oil"... There is the CHEAP STUFF that has little or no specs to it... There will also be a "PREMIUM" type of UNIVERSAL TRACTOR TRANS/ HYDRAULIC oil... Look at the SPEC on the back.. Should list ALLIS 821.. and several others like CAT, JD, ALLISON, CASE..... if there are 20 deifferent "specs" then its good quality and acceptable.... You might also get a   AWG 46 hydraulic oil from NAPA or other that meets many specs............. almost everything is like a 20 wt oil.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

IMO Travelers seems to thin out when it gets hot

Travelers is a 10w 30 type oil... so YES, it is thinner when hot than cold... But "in theory" it is a 10W oil when cold and a 30 wt oil when hot... so should be OK compared to a standard 20 wt oil ???

I'm curious to know how you came to that conclusion.

Of coarse oil get thin when hot ,,,, Got a 6060 with a loader on it - all worked great at first- running it a few hours loading manure- after 2 hours hydraulics got slow - drained that stuff out, replaced with differt brand and good too go  - Ill admit money was tight then - this stuff was cheap , found out why, also froze in winter- like gooo- this is my experience
