Service manual assumes you know things...POS...anyway to remove BIG drive pulley on rt side do you have to remove drive tire? Doesn't appear to have enough room to get off shaft with tire in the way. If I knew the pivot block would slide out as is I'd leave pulley on. You can't access the support bolt with the pulley there to give it some play. Anyone know? Wasn't wanting to waller that 30.5 but I can.

You can get that pulley off without the tire off. It’s tight but will fit.

Thanks Ryan. Next issue is how to hold on to it and get it out without dropping it. Tight quarters in there.

To give an idea of wether you can remove it or not without taking off the wheel, I checked mine and I have 5 1/2 inches between the outside edge of the rim and the head of the center bolt on pulley shaft. I have taken mine off several times. I hook a motorcycle strap through the hub, between spokes, then use a rachet strap hooked inside the hopper and over the edge. To remove throat assembly I used pallet forks on the loader tractor and strapped the throat to the fork frame to hold solid. Doing it this way you need a spotter.Good luck

I use a portable engine hoist to remove my feeder house.  Easier to see thn from the forklift or loader seat

I guess I have never removed a feeder house from any Gleaner rotary combine. I always remove the right drive tire, the pulley you are talking about, loosen the setscrews on the sprockets and press the hex drive shaft sideways and out the right side.

You can remove feeder house with pulley, but you have to disconnect the handbrake cable and get it out of the way. I sometimes take pulley off first, sometimes not ,i always reinstall with pulley on tho as i make sure its bush and slip clutch are all set right first.
