What was the original front tire size for a 39 B? Also what was the rim width?

I think it was 7x24. Check Miller Tire FAQ's website for good info on sizes and rims over the years....

400-15 wheel is 15x3.5

front tire was a bit smaller. my book says it would have had 5.00-15 in the sizes of that day.

oops, my bad... good thing I have eye surgery tomorrow morning!!!!!

DPN says 4.00 x 15 for B, 5.00 x 15 for IB, 6.00 x 16 for "special"
