I have to ask why it was the sleds fault. Looks as if it took a hard bounce and unhooked. Did the chain break, hook break, does the hook have the extra piece welded on to help prevent this, hitch break. I have seen this before, although usually with the mini's Just a couple quesitons going thru my pea brain

I beleve the hitch broke. Im sure the sled had had the piece welded on the hook it looks like a lowry sled . It is hard to tell in this video but the weight box on the sled is moving up the rails very fast and when it hits the end of the rails and box stop. It actualy drives the sled forward puting slack in the chain causeing the tractor to loose traction for a split second. Thats why the tractor went outa control on 1 wheel causeing the hitch to fail.

I seen a similar crash with a New Holland only he didn't break away; when the tractor bounced the sled actually ended up under the one rear tire that come off the ground and the nose dug into the ground.

Pretty tense moment for the driver and spectators. Driver did a good job and nobody got hurt -- easily could have been a sad story.

it's close but the box was still moving. front wen't high enough to lose drabar pulldown, front cam down and tractor hooked back up. At that speed everything happens so fast there is't much a driver can do just keep it straight and don't hit the brakes the kill switch shut the engine down. With helmet & fire mask,+cage you just are not aware of what goes on. I often tell friends, you'll know something wen't wrong before I do.

Its hard to tell from the seat how bad it is happens very fast and since your sitting in the middle of the back wheels its kinda like sitting in the middle of a see saw. if that makes any since? lol

thumb farmer . I think the box triped out thats why the tractor unloaded then reloaded. had it happen to me a few years ago at the fort. The sled operators in my case were iron man sleds and they slam that box so hard against the box stops it unloads the tractor. When singer has the exact same sled and puts more weight in the box and moves it ahead slower and it is as smothe as glass.
