Am in the middle of restoring a terra tiger, has a 10hp JLO engine in it that is in good shape but needs a recoil, would like to repower it with a honda, has anyone repowered a terra tiger and with what. Also are the drive belts still around the one on there is like new but isonly 3/4 of an inch wide the owners manual looks like it is an inch to 1 1/4 wide, so I am thinking some one changed it with a narrower one
TIA

Mine had a new briggs engine in it when I bought it but I would like the original that belongs in it. You should be able to put any motor you want in there that has the right size shaft or get a different clutch. As for the belt I would guess it is wore that far maybe? If you want to sell your JLO, let me know how far into WI you are.

If I remember right.. it takes an 1-3/8" wide belt. I'm in the same boat. I'd like to repower one of mine with an 18hp briggs opposed..but I may run out of space. For the price of a new centrifugal clutch, I'm thinkin of making it hydraulic drive, then I'd have reverse!

Go to Route6x6.com and Richard can help you with all your problems and needs. He has a really neat website. I have ordered parts and other items and have got excellent service.
