Fired up the 190 today to remove the snowblower and put her up for the summer.  This time I paid attention, well, a little.. LOL  Anywayz, the clutch, put foot on it to disengage, I don't push it in, just touch it and PTO disengages.  Then I noticed while backing, just barely touch clutch and she stops.  I've betting it needs adjusted, should not be that touchy.  How much play should I have before it disengages/engages, is it easy to adjust?  Never messed with the 190 clutch.

I believe my manual says 2 inches of freeplay at the pedal. Adust mine on left side between steering console and engine. Pull the cotter pin and remove pin. Lengthin or sharten as needed. Adjustment rod has a large spring on it, easy to spot.

Minimum 2 inches....4 is better as long as you can shift gears

Thanks, I'll definitely do that soon!  I bet that was why when I backed into heavy snow, the blower would stop and tractor would not move.  My only problem, and I seriously hope, is no snow to try her out on again until next fall.  Smile
