I'm getting water in the motor oil, but the level of the radiator stays the same. Need advise? Thank you

The first question is how much water? If the oil is milky, how much do you use this tractor? Are you using it on a regular basis or just playing around? It might be condensation build up if you aren't using it enough to get it hot. I bought my wd that way and found that it had no thermostat. I put in a 180 degree stat and it has been fine ever since.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. Hard to tell from a single sentence, but is the tractor stored under cover? Is rain water getting in the system? Not trying to be insulting by starting with the very basics, but we don't have much info to work with here. One problem with internet posts is you don't know if you're trying to help a novice with limited knowledge or an expert who has run out of ideas-unless they tell you! Ryan

Yep, a can over the muffler or one of those flappers will not stop water from running down the outside of a Walker or Stanley muffler into the manifold. Like Chris said if the thermostat isn't there or you don't get it up to 190 for a good while once a month, you could have condensation in the oil. Charlie

If it is a diesel tractor, it could be diesel fuel getting in the oil. Dad had a Deere that did that.

That water down the outside of stack can be a real problem, my IH 460 is great for that as manifold is threaded and it takes water in there easily. Next thing is oil is milky . Also type of oil used can create a problem as some seem to hold water in suspension easily.

Make a shield to deflect the water at the base.
