5 of Newark New Jersey's best citizens traveled 100 miles to the tip of Long Island.
They smash grabbed robbed a high end boutique of $95k worth of "Hampton's" type merchandise. Five thousand dollar purses and such. During the getaway and police pursuit their car broke down on the expressway, they jumped out, headed south through the woods and swamp. Towards my place.
So we had police helicopter and many police from at least 3 departments.
Lasted for hours. I counted six times the police searched in back of my place and the neighbors. They captured two in my neighbors barn. Two more in the woods. One apparently got away or is lost. It got down to 20 degrees last night.

I would bet they are career criminals, just living off the land.
Modern times.

When Courts and Lawyers refuse to hold people responsible for their actions, then this becomes common place........... they basically Condone this action, by their INaction.

Hope the last one is OUT of your area Brian... Good luck.

At one point I was in my workshop and the sliding rear barn door opened! I said hello to the K9 policeman! So if the cane bolt hole is full of dirt, the bolt doesn't enter enough, and then a "6 foot 10" police guy, with 250 pound German shepherd, when he yanks on the door, will pop it open. Well I should clean out that hole. I was crouching down with a screw driver in hand, picking the dirt out of the hole, and another cop came by! Good thing I didn't fit the description. I decided to retreat to the house.
