Missouri Department of Conservation, as to this and as yet Nothing.

Hermann has a Wintering spot for Vultures, for some reason they love the eastern side of town along a Steep set of Hills south of the MO River.  Has nearly always been Turkey Vultures(Red Heads)  Recently wife had been spotting some what She considered VERY large Crows or Ravens around that have turned out to be Black Vultures.

These are quite Aggressive and will attack LIVE Barnyard Animals when food thins out, known to take out new Calfs or Lambs even with the Mother nearby as attack in groups or Mobs.

We have them around here, I think.  2-5 of em sit up on the barns, pretty much residents. On foggy days, I've seen 30+.  When we used to have cows, one of the cows had a dead calf, she stood by to protect it, or to mourn over it, bastards plucked out 1 of her eyes!

SSS would be my advice...Wink
