I know off topic but looking at a Gehl Skidloader with a bad 3TNV88 BKMS engine.  Have a lead on a good 3TNV88 BKGWL.  Does anyone know how easy of a swap this would be or what is different between the two engines.  Been looking online and cannot really seam to find anything other than what it was used in.  Thanks

Not an expert by any means, but the 3TNV88 is the model, and the rest is likely accessories to fit it into a particular application, is what my guesstimation is. If this is the case, you may need to strip both down to the long block transferring parts as needed. Again, just my hunch. I would look closely at both engines and note differences. Once thing to consider though, is the crankshaft may be different from one application to the other, for drive fitment, but I doubt it.

I would ask the guy to get a photo of the bell housing and end of crank shaft.. Also the name plate on the motor.. They appear to have an industrial , farm, marine, stationary versions of all their motors... Most are rated HP at 2800 or 3000 RPM.. but i did see a marine version that was 1800 rpm..... The radiator / fan/ muffler / air cleaner can be part of the "package" or mounted separate to the vehicle.
