Browsing the internet and found this place. MI is a little far for me but it is nice to see a place out there that loves Allis-Chalmers so much that they remain a dealer 25 years after AC went under.

They have several nice tractors from 20-35's  to 8550's.

It's seeing places like this that makes me feel good to know that we are not the only ones who bleed orange and that AC was more than just a tractor company.

Been up there once, three hoours from here.  Was 8050 shopping.  There is a ton of AC stuff there, he finds it somehow!  He was heavy into refurbishing 8000 series when I was there, one was all apart in the shop and they look new when they get finished.  I've boguht parts from him over the phone, good guy.

Ivan came to our farm sale here in central IL in 2003 and bought several pieces of machinery to haul back to MI. I talked to him for a few minutes after the sale, and found it to be a pleasure to meet him.

I've often wandered how they move any invetory with the prices their asking. Kinda had to laugh the last time I looked at their site, but that was a couple years ago. Just my opinion though.

What is so special about this 220? Is it because its a 4x4? I don't think it is worth $37,500.

Alot of people here in MI think he's more than a little shady.  He had cherry of a 7000 once I looked at it's block was welded and one of the tires was booted.   Neighbor looked a L or M series that wasn't  nearly as advertised.  As always buyer beware just like a other jockey he's in business to make money off you. Never met a jockey that I could trust.

They didn't build their business without satisfying the greatest majority of their customers. I stopped there a few years ago on a sunday when in their area and thought they had quite the set up.  I did notice that none of the tractors  outside for sale had the exhaust pipes covered, only a few had raincaps. That would give me pause , northern michigan gets it's fair share of rain, I just dumped 4 1/2" from my raingauge from the last 24 hours.  Ivan, cover your pipes!

Say what you want guys, I've gotten actual AGCO parts from Ivan, and A&I parts from the AGCO dealer, at AGCO list, until I called them on it......They've been in business for a long time for a reason.  He's done me fine.

For about that 220.

When you know that there are only 100 made with FWA, you say it's a unique tractor.
